FM 1-43 (Molecular Probes) Disolves readily in water. Make 1mM stock and freeze and keep in the dark. It is VERY sensitive to light. Use at 10-20:M. Apply for ~1 minute and the rinse off for several minutes. It fluoresces like FITC. Tips received from Venkatesch Murthy (venk@salk.edu) |
